At Green Frog Chocolate, we take great care to ensure your chocolates arrive safely, beautifully presented, and in perfect condition. Please read the information below before placing your order.

Order Processing & Dispatch

All of our chocolates are handcrafted in small batches.

Orders are typically prepared and dispatched within 1–3 working days.

During busy periods such as Valentine’s Day, Mothers/Fathers Day, Easter, Christmas, and during website promotions, dispatch times may be slightly longer.

Custom, corporate, wedding, and large orders may require additional preparation time, which will be agreed in advance.

Orders placed on weekends or bank holidays will be processed on the next working day.

Weather & Temperature Restrictions

Chocolate is sensitive to heat and extreme weather conditions.

To protect product quality, we may temporarily pause or delay dispatch during heatwaves or extreme conditions.

If a delay is necessary, we will contact you as soon as possible.

These precautions are taken to ensure your chocolates arrive in perfect condition.

Delivery Responsibility

Once your order has been dispatched, responsibility for delivery transfers to the courier.

Where available, tracking information will be provided.

Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery addresses are accurate and complete.

We are not responsible for:

- Delays caused by courier networks
- Failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses
- Parcels left in “safe places” chosen by the courier
- Missed deliveries where no one is available to receive the parcel

If there is an issue with your delivery, please contact us promptly so we can assist.

Cancellations

Before Dispatch
Orders may be cancelled for a full refund before they have been dispatched. Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel.

After Dispatch
Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

Custom, Corporate, Wedding & Large Orders
For these orders, cancellation times can vary. Please contact us as soon as possible is you wish to cancel your order.

Due to the perishable nature of chocolate, we cannot accept returns on dispatched food products unless faulty.

Returns & Refunds

Because our products are perishable food items, we are unable to accept returns unless:

- The product is faulty
- The product has arrived damaged
- The incorrect item has been sent

If there is a problem with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and include:

Your order number
A description of the issue
Clear photographs where relevant

Each case will be assessed individually. We may offer a replacement, partial refund, or full refund where appropriate.

In cases of damaged or faulty items, we require clear photographic evidence of the product and packaging before any refund or replacement can be considered. Customers must retain the affected items and not dispose of them until the issue has been resolved. In some circumstances, we may request that products are returned to us for inspection. Refunds will only be issued in this instance for items that are returned when requested.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

Damaged or Lost Parcels

Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and contents and contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

Lost Parcels
If a parcel is confirmed as lost by the courier, we will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate. This may be subject to the courier’s investigation process and outcome.

Special Delivery Dates

If you require delivery for a specific date, such as for gifts or events, please contact us in advance with details of the delivery date so we can arrange your order to your requirements.

For time-sensitive deliveries, we recommend selecting DPD Next Day.

We cannot guarantee delivery on a specific date and are not responsible for missed occasions due to courier delays or circumstances outside of our control.
