These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the Green Frog Chocolate website. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Products

All products are handmade in small batches. Colours, designs, and decorations may vary slightly from photographs. Product images are for illustrative purposes only. We reserve the right to make minor changes to products where necessary without affecting quality. All products are subject to availability.

Orders

By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete, including your delivery address, that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method, and that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a legal guardian. We are not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, errors in pricing, or stock issues.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. Payment must be received in full before orders are processed and dispatched. If a pricing or listing error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

Delivery

Delivery options, costs, and estimated times are set out on our Delivery & Refunds page. Dispatch times are estimates and may vary during busy periods. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control. We accept no liability for damage occurring during transit, including but not limited to melting, cosmetic damage, or temperature-related issues. Where a courier leaves an order in a designated “safe place,” responsibility for the parcel passes to the customer at that point, and we are not liable for any loss or damage that occurs while the parcel is unattended.

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled for a full refund before dispatch. Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled. Due to the perishable nature of our products, returns are only accepted for faulty or incorrect items.

Returns & Refunds

Our returns and refunds policy is outlined on our Delivery & Refunds page. Because our products are perishable, we cannot accept returns unless items are faulty, damaged, or incorrect. Photographic evidence may be required, and items must be retained until the matter is resolved. Returned items may be required for inspection. Refunds will only be issued for items returned where requested.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you are entitled to remedies under the law.

Allergens & Ingredients

We handle and produce products in an environment that uses milk, soya, nuts, peanuts, gluten, eggs, and sulphites. While we take great care, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from traces of allergens. Full ingredient and allergen information is provided on product listings and packaging. Customers with severe allergies should contact us before ordering.

Shelf Life & Storage

All products are supplied with best before dates and storage guidance. Chocolates should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong odours. We are not responsible for quality issues arising from improper storage after delivery.

Custom & Bespoke Orders

Custom, wedding, and corporate orders are subject to separate agreements and timelines. Deposits for bespoke orders may be non-refundable. Designs, colours, and finishes for bespoke products may vary slightly from samples.

Promotions & Discount Codes

Discount codes cannot be combined unless stated. We reserve the right to withdraw promotions at any time. Misuse of discount codes may result in order cancellation.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, designs, and branding, remains the property of Green Frog Chocolate. No content may be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits or business, delays outside our control, damage during transit, or customer dissatisfaction based on personal preference. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or negligence.

Privacy & Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR requirements. Customer information is used only for order processing, delivery, and customer service. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except where required for fulfilment or by law.

Complaints & Disputes

If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter promptly and fairly. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
